WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes names Zelda: Ocarina of Time as his favorite video game
Hard to argue with that pick
It’s a little known fact that WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes is a big video game fan, and a massive Zelda fan in particular. Rhodes recently sat down for an interview with GQ, and they discussed a wide range of important subjects, including gaming.
Rhodes listed the Nintendo Switch as one of his top ten essential items he couldn’t live without. This of course, prompted the question of what his favorite games are, and Rhodes was ready with a list of all timers. You can watch his explanation in the video above, or check out his list below:
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- Metal Gear Solid
- Red Dead Redemption II
- Halo: Combat Evolved
- Ghost of Tsushima
Nintendo fans should be pleased that Rhodes chose the iconic Ocarina of Time as his #1, which he calls “the champion of all games”. In the midst of the praise, Rhodes also takes a minute to explain that Majora’s Mask “is an extension of Ocarina of Time”, and therefore doesn’t deserve the same level of praise. Controversial words for some, but you gotta respect the passion!
